1886: March 23-1893: January 12.  The Hendschel Album. Album containing autograph poems and tributes to Clementina Zwarts from her friends. Inscribed on page 1 "Clementina Zwarts. St. Louis Mo. March 23, 1886."  Bound in blue with ocean scene.

Autograph letter signed from Hooker to "My good frind and correspondent," offering Christmas greetings and inquiring about family. Mr. Hooker complains of his gout but resolves to bear the affliction patiently, for God alone is the "great physician of all souls." He also speculates that the French theaten to declare war any day, waiting to lull the British into complacency before striking. 2 pages.

Scope and Contents 1857 July-October 28. Bills of lading, from various shippers to W.P. Howard commission merchant. Most bills originate in St. Louis, a few in Boston, Pittsburgh, St. Joseph, and Cincinnati. Some bills read "Regular St. Louis, St. Joseph and Council Bluffs Packet" or "St. Louis and New Orleans Packet."
