The Florence Margaret “Stevie” Smith Papers include 61 items of correspondence from Smith to Kay Dick (1943-1970). Also included are two autograph drafts of untitled poem and a typescript draft of "Song of the River Trent."

The bulk of the Spark Papers consist of correspondence between Spark and British poet Derek Stanford, and correspondence between Spark and her literary agent. Correspondence with other literary figures is also included, as well as drafts of several poems and essays by Spark. Also present are two small notebooks bearing Spark's autograph notes which include drafts of poems.

The Harris Hatcher Collection on Wallace Stevens consists of one piece of Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company letterhead and a framed photographic print of Stevens. Also included are limited editon books with letters of provenance, Ideas of Order (1935), Ideas of Order (1936), The Palm at the End of the Mind (1984), and Sur Ma Guzzla Gracile (Poetry, Volume 19, Number 1, 1921).

The Judith Saul Stix Papers largely consist of correspondence and manuscript drafts of Stix’s poems, including “Commencement Day,” a poem written on the occasion of Washington University’s 1987 commencement. Also included are journals and a memoir of Howard Nemerov.
