This collection documents the activities of the Environmental Response organization. Material includes organizational correspondence, policy statements and activities, brochures and posters, and project information.

A small group of material in the collection unrelated to Environmental Response is a folder on the Association of Black Collegians. This significant material deals with a sit-in at Brookings Hall in 1968, and includes a copy of the protestors’ Manifesto.

The Washington University Centennial Papers Presented at 1876 World's Fair Collection consists of two bound volumes of autograph educational work presented at the Missouri exhibit by Washington University freshman, sophomore, and senior classes on topics including the United States Constitution, English Literature, English History, Latin, Analytical Geometry, Algebra, and Descriptive Geometry.

This collection contains a list of the executive committee members, from 1911-1962, as well as the meeting minutes, club members, and notices, dating from 1936-1962.  It also contains three copies of the Constitution and Bylaws of the club and the original constitution and meeting minutes from the early years of the club. The constitution lists the managing members of the club from 1903-1904, suggesting that these were the founding years of the club.
