Scope and Contents Documented in this collection are various academic building on the Washington University campus and two power stations with large chimneys. Located at the School of Medicine Campus is the Euclid Avenue Power Plant with a round chimney. On the Danforth [Hilltop] Campus near Forest Park Parkway is a Power Plant built in 1901, with a square chimney added in 1925. The collection consists of a number of bound volumes which describe Thias' life, teaching activities at Washington University, and architectural career. The collection also includes several folders of Thias' sketches and watercolors. These drawings depict buildings on the Washington University campus, St. Louis scenes, and Missouri scenes.
