Jarvis Thurston Papers
The Jarvis Thurston Papers consist primarily of correspondence relating to Washington University's Department of English and its visiting writers program. The most significant part of the Thurston collection is the correspondence from James T. Farrell to Thurston and Van Duyn. These letters are of a more personal nature and often discuss literary matters such as Van Duyn's work. A small group of manuscripts, notably two drafts of a Thurston short story, "The Cross," is also included.
R. G. Usher Papers
This collection contains some manuscripts and publications by R.G. Usher as well as newclippings, reviews, and correspondence relating to his writings.
The scrapbook documents the initial reception of his book A Critical Study of the Historical Method of Samuel Rawson Gardiner, 1915. The material is arranged alphabetically by subject.
Mona Van Duyn Papers
The Mona Van Duyn Papers contain manuscripts and editorial matter toward her books, including the award-winning Near Changes. In addition, there are numerous drafts of individual poems and correspondence from and manuscripts by numerous literary figures.

Washington University Club Records
This collection contains a list of the executive committee members, from 1911-1962, as well as the meeting minutes, club members, and notices, dating from 1936-1962. It also contains three copies of the Constitution and Bylaws of the club and the original constitution and meeting minutes from the early years of the club. The constitution lists the managing members of the club from 1903-1904, suggesting that these were the founding years of the club.

The Patty Jo Watson Papers consists mainly of published essays and books reviews, teaching material, and graduate schoolwork that help document Watson's archaeological career.
