Contains various planning and publicity documents related to the University’s involvement in the planning of the Cross-County Expansion.

This modest collection details the early personal development and subsequent professional activities of Stratford Lee Morton. The collection is particularly strong in chronicling the planning for the1953 – 1954 Worlds Fair in St. Louis (which was ultimately not conducted) and for records of the Academy of Science in St. Louis.

The collection includes material relating to the Mudd/Eliot Hall architectural competition of 1965, including background information and competition drawings.

Washington University Names That Live Sketches consists of the original pencil sketches by featured in Names That Live: An Account of the People for Whom the Buildings at Washington University are Named and of the Benefactors Who Gave Them produced by the Office of University Relations in 1967. The building sketches were drawn by Michael N. Schreiber (Fine Arts, 1964) and the portrait sketches were drawn by Simmie Gellman.

Carol Sklenicka Collection of Howard Nemerov Papers includes six items of correspondence from Nemerov to Sklenicka, 1986-1990, and one VHS tape of the Nemerov lecture, "Language, Nonsense, and Poetry; In Other Words...," 1990.

The collection includes correspondence, diaries, photographs, and publications by Nipher and others, nine volumes of Missouri Weather Service data notebooks, and four glass plate negatives. The publications are arranged alphabetical by author, then alphabetical by title.
