Producing over 80 programs—the most recognizable being the documentary Eyes on the Prize, which won Emmy Awards, Peabody Awards, and was nominated for an Oscar, Blackside chronicled the 20th century’s great political and social movements focusing on the lives of the poor and disenfranchised. Additional award-winning productions to public television, including The Great Depression, Malcolm X: Make It Plain, America's War on Poverty, This Far by Faith, and I'll Make Me A World.
