Notebooks from Finkel's college years and early career. Each notebook is separately titled. Finkel refers to these notebooks in notes with the material as "Juvenilia." Epigraphs and allusions interspersed throughout the texts indicate influences of Kierkegaard, Kafka, Klee, Aeschylus, T.S. Eliot, fairy tales and Greek myths.
