The Roden Noel Papers consists of a collection of autograph material by Noel, his mother, and his son.

Description A notebook, 8vo, with the signature "Lady F. Jocelyn" (Roden Noel's mother) and the title in her hand: "Selections and Memoranda." The book contains transcripts by Lady Jocelyn of favourite poems, and a few verses which appear to be her own original compositions. Also included is a poem, wholly in the author's autograph, entitled "Spring and Summer autumn and winter" (7 pages) "By Roden Noel - revised by the author - April 1848" (when he was fourteen). Description A notebook, small 4to, entitled in manuscript. Philosophical Essays by the Honorable Roden Noel. This substantial collection of cuttings was amassed by the poetess Emily Hickey, and bears her autograph signature on the fly-lead. The essays, most of them of considerable length, have been neatly mounted in double column, and amount to c. 40 pages.
