Biographical Information

George Collier Hitchcock was born December 28, 1867 to Henry and Mary Collier Hitchcock of St. Louis. He graduated from Yale University in 1890 and went on to earn his law degree from St. Louis Law School and Harvard Law in 1893. In 1901 he married Elizabeth Lawrence Fiske of Boston, with whom he had at least five children. The family lived at 5363 Waterman Ave. in St. Louis. Hitchcock managed estates and practiced law, eventually becoming a judge. He died of myocarditis on May 27, 1949.
