Biographical Information

Captain Jeremiah Green was born on March 12, 1703 to Nathaniel and Eliza Green of Boston. On October 12, 1727 he married Sarah Binning (or Benning), the only child of prominent merchant John Binning. The couple had at least one son, also named Jeremiah, born February 14, 1732. Jeremiah Senior was apparently a well-to-do businessman, owning a distillery and a significant amound of land. He died on January 8, 1790.
