The George P. Elliott Papers consist primarily of his own manuscripts and editorial material toward his published work. Also included is the manuscript of an unpublished play, Michael the God, and his correspondence with other literary figures.
George Engelmann Papers
The George Engelmann Papers consists of letters from Engelmann to Garland Carr Broadhead concerning nomenclature and classification of plant specimens collected by Broadhead, with occasional other botanical notes. Included is one letter, March 1906, from Broadhead to the Academy of Science of St. Louis, giving the letters to the Academy and explaining their origin.
