Biographical Information

Margaret Boyer West served as Associate Directior of the John B. Ervin Scholars Program and Assistant Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at Washington University. West was born December 5, 1948 in California. She graduated from Washington University with a Ph.D. in Music in 1980. Her thesis was entitled, “A Study of Brahms’ Setting of the Poems from Tieck’s Liebesgeschichte der schönen Magelone und des Grafen Peter von Provence.” West also served as Associate Director of Development at John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Administrator at Howard University College of Medicine.
