Biographical or Historical Information
The contributors of Bug Magazine organized as an official student group in 1998 and sought funding from Student Union.
“The purpose of Bug Magazine is to provide a unique publication to the Washington University community – one which his simultaneously a showcase for artists and writers of cartoons and narrative pictorals of all kinds, as well as an enrichment of the diverse campus audience. Bug Magazine is traditionally published either annually or biannually, and is distributed to all parts of the Washington University campus for free.” (from the Bug Magazine: Washington University Comic’s Anthology Constitution, 1998)
