Norman Flagg Papers
The collection consists of one box of correspondence, arranged chronologically. Nearly all the letters are written to William Greenleaf Eliot, Jr., grandson of the co-founder of Washington University and a lifelong friend of Mr. Flagg's.
Other papers of the Norman Flagg and the Flagg family may be found at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Biographical or Historical Information
Norman Gershom Flagg was born circa 1868, in Moro, Illinois. He received his A.B. degree in 1888 from Washington University. He was a member of the lower house of Illinois State Legislature from 1909 to circa 1927 and a member of the Illinois State Senate from circa 1927 to circa 1939. He died May 16, 1948 in Moro, Illinois.
