Historical Information

Organized in 1984, the Bookmark Society was a group of supporters of the Washington University Libraries. The Society sponsored a number of book discussion groups for its members each academic year.

Arrangement

This collection is divided into two series:

Series 1: Subject Files – ephemera related to Bookmark Society activities (arranged alphabetically by subject)

Series 2: Recordings of Bookmark Society Events – one box of audio cassettes, one box of reel to reel tapes (arranged chronologically within each box)

Method of Acquisition

This material was donated to the University Archives.
