Biographical Information

George Fehl III (1904-1991) is the grandson of George Fehl (1843-1899), a St. Louis manufacturer of “Blue Ribbon” cigars. His son, George Fehl, Jr., succeeded him in the management of the George Fehl Blue Ribbon Cigar Company. George Fehl III attended Saturday class in the School of Fine Arts as Washington University in 1918. He also produced such publications as Maps and Drawings of Street Railways and Electric Lines in St. Louis, MO.
