Identifier: WUA-03-wua00442

The Eugene J. Mackey, Jr. Papers consists of Mackey’s original sketches and impressions of France and Italy during six week trip to Europe during the summer of 1958 with his son Gene. As the companions traveled through Belgium, Germany, France and Italy, Mackey sketched his trip instead of using a camera. 55 years later, Gene Mackey organized Mackey’s drawings and published Impressions of a European Journey.
