Biographical or Historical Information

Israel Treiman received his B.A. in 1921, his M.A. in 1922, and a law degree in 1924 all from Washington University.  He was also a Rhodes Scholar in 1924.  Treiman was also a professor of law at Washington University from 1929 to the 1940s.  He served as a trial commissioner for the Office of Price Administration in the 1940s.
