Biographical Information

David Burbank took a few classes at Washington University School of Architecture.  Later, he was a library building security assistant at Washington University. His grandfather, Amos Thayer, was a federal judge of the Eighth Circuit, and his mother, Louise January Thayer, was a relative of Mrs. Robert Bookings. Burbank was part of the Labor Movement for a time, and studied the St. Louis general strike of 1877. He wrote Reign of the Rabble, the St. Louis General Strike of 1877 Augustus M. Kelley, Publishers, New York, 1966.
