Biographical Note

Edward Joseph Winer (August 19, 1898 – January 17, 1973) was a Washington University alumni that served as Private First Class in the U.S. Army during World War I at Base Hospital 21 in Rouen, France. Winer was a member of Beta Lambda fraternity during his time at Washington University in the early 1920s. He married Ruth Harris. He was also a member of the American Legion Rouen Post No. 21 and St. Louis Post Commanders Club.
