Scope and Contents
This collection includes meeting minutes, correspondence with members, and fundraising materials of the Washington University Memorial Association (WUMA). The major work of the Association included installation of a memorial plaque on Ridgley Hall to honor alumni and student who died in World War I, planting a dozen elm trees on campus and erecting a bronze tablet to honor Professor Calvin Woodward after his death, and commissioning a series of portraits to honor Chancellors of the...
