Arrow Collar Collection
This collection includes published materials and ephemera relating to American illustrator J.C. Leyendecker (1874-1951). The collection is focused on Leyendecker's work for the Arrow Collar advertising campaign that took place from 1907-1931.The collection was compiled by Michael Murphy and many of the materials were used for his dissertation research. Murphy's dissertation is titled White Collared: Fashioning Masculinity in American Visual Culture.
