On the left, a child sits on a couch, chin tucked to chest, and looks towards two men on the right. A violin, bow and sheet music sit on the table beside the couch. This drawing is the first of several installments for this story.
According to artist notes on the back of the item, the illustration was mailed to Cosmopolitan on January 15, 1925.
